Hurting
I watch as you walk down the hall,
their echoes of disappointment rattle in your brain.
You didn't do anything wrong.
In fact, it was them, all the guys that used you.
Boys that didn't care enough,
to see that they were making you feel worthless.
You have friends, but you are left walking alone.
Your friends don't share this pain, this addiction.
The soothing touch of a boy's hands,
is the only thing that will make you feel worthwhile.
That's all you crave, the attention, the trust, the bond. What you may not realize,
is that you're better than this.
You don't deserve to be used,
or to have your conscience be abused.
I know that you have felt true love,
but this is not how you'll find it.
Patience is a virtue, but i feel
you need to grasp and hold onto it.
I know you may not believe it,
but everything is going to be alright.
