Tell You the Truth
I tell you the truth: I am unlike any other.
Few possess my fighting spirit;
Fewer still my untouched mind.
My heart is pure, my soul fearless.
Many have looked upon me, yet none truly know me.
I am whole, yet shattered, as one whose heart is truly ruined.
I tell you the truth: he is a rare son of the gods.
Few possess his strength and quickness;
Fewer still his close-kept secrets.
His heart and soul are filled with grief.
Many know him all too well; others know him not at all.
He is broken, yet one piece, as one who shall never be gone.
I tell you the truth: we are a match to contrast all others.
Few possess our love for each other;
Fewer still our unending bond.
Our hearts are forever, our souls twined together.
Many claim to know us, but none truly see us as one.
We are one, forever and always. Never to be separated, never to be gone.
I tell you the truth: love, pain, grief, joy, peace…
All twined into one. They last forever together.
Never to die, never to halt, never to lie.
They last forever, and I tell you the truth:
I am unlike any other.
