A really good poet write so that the reader can walk in their shoes just for that one minute. Victoria Jones

The faceless girl
She feels all emotions
But at the same time feel none
Pain washes over her
But at the same time slides off
She lives to survive
But not survive to live
She stands and looks
And see as the ocean take and give away
And she wonders who’s going to give to her
Instead of just take away
People see her
But she doesn’t see them
Nothing bothers her
Because she doesn’t hear
What they say
Air is recycled used to survive
But never to calm
But she feels
She feels the pain
Of her motherless child
And a childless mother
She feels the pain of innocent blood
And war
She feels the pain of a tormented child
And the pain of a cruel soul
She feels the pain of the sick
And the hopeless
She feels this and never frowns
But only feels
She stands and looks
And see as the ocean take and give away
And she wonders who’s going to give to her
Instead of just take away
