Not Even the Stars
In a cold quiet little place, I swipe my eyes
up towards great darkness suffocated behind clouds
Thousands of stars shine amidst the sky,
but to me, you are the loudest
A small twinkling light millions of miles away
ever so slightly visible has such clear route
crossing the galaxy slowly, slowly to decay
Piercing my heart with your passion so astute
In a cold quiet little place, I swipe my eyes
up towards the great darkness, with little flashing lights so far
away that I can barely see the direction it flies
So no matter how far away, you, my love are brighter than the stars
