We Don't Need to Make a Sound
Don’t tell me that you love me,
If I’m not the only one.
Even if you really love me,
Just leave me alone.
I’ve always needed you,
But now I know how to be alone.
I love you,
But I’m perfectly fine on my own.
I’m stronger than I ever knew how to be,
And I don’t need you telling
The world that I can’t be me.
I’m so sick of this yelling.
Just get on your way,
Please don’t turn around.
There’s nothing left to say.
We don’t need to make a sound.
