The chip cherp chatter
Of the birds fluttering about my window
The splish splush splatter
Of the shower running water
All's nice and peaceful until
Ding Bing
Beep!
chipe ching
Beep!
The alarm sounds off to another days start
Sizzle saz sazzle
Goes the morning breakfast
Then an uh and an ah fills the air
For all's becoming peaceful and quiet again
My eyes begin to gently close until
Slit
Splat
Tatter
Tat
goes the grease out of the frying pan
Screech!
Ouch!
Youch!
Owie!
I hear my mother yelp
she has burnt her hand while cooking the bacon
The shrieks soon subside and a louder ear splitting sound takes its place
Bark!
Woof!
Howoo!
Goes the loud pitches of the neighborhood dogs
Then a silence fall upon the house
Sadly it does not last
Clip-clop!
Clickety clack!
Smish!
Smash!
And a crash!
Now what could that be
But my wide awake baby sister
She plays me a song on moms pots and pans
Before I'm off to school
Where all new sounds will come to life
