A Battle for the Bathroom
Everyday begins
With a battle for the bathroom
As long as you’re on time it doesn’t matter who isn’t
But I still manage to catch the bus
Always surviving, every day
When I come home my haven turns to hell
And you’re the reason why
You always ask, “Why are you so sensitive?”
But that’s because you’re the one who makes me cry
Do you get you’re satisfaction in watching parts of me die?
Everything happens for a reason
But this rivalry never results in anything
And the abuse goes on
With the sharp words that hurt more than you’re fists
All of this should make me stronger, but instead weakens me
People say that this will get better as we get older,
But it only intensified our views
The huge gap that separates us seems to get bigger every second
Even though we are all different, we also are the same
Have you become so blind that you can’t see anyone but yourself?
You have always been my idol
And even though you hurt me so much
I still wish I could be as smart as you
Or as funny and witty
But I’m not; I can’t be anyone but myself
As a kid you were the same
Always stealing all my toys
I know it just seems cute now
But what if someone suddenly took something you care about
And didn’t tell you why?
I want to say my life sucks
But I know it could always be worse
So I just wanted to say thanks to you
For making my life be kinda suckish
And for making all of my days begin with a battle for the bathroom
