My Love for You
My love for you has a stain
All the pain I took from you and your addiction
For a while I let the thoughts of it rule me
Then I thought, “What was I to gain?”
All those promises broken
There are so many things that could have from this
After what your addiction has taken away
You still go for it when it calls your name
Really nobody’s to blame
My love for you has a stain
Knowing you chose drugs before me
That thought just bugs me
How did you live with telling me you loved me
The pain of all this and nothing to gain
The thought of you dying
Just another thing that keeps me crying
My love for you has a stain
These tear drops feel like rain
I can’t take this anymore
I’ll close my eyes right here right now
Maybe when I open them
This all will just be a dream
My love for you has a stain

Some of it was a little awkward, but, overall, it's beautiful, and I love the emotion it has to it.
"My love for you has a stain"-- gorgeous line.
