Someone to hold me in their arms
To call me theirs
Protect me, call me beautiful
Love me, care for me
Watch out for me
Someone I could be real with
And they wouldn’t care what I thought
Someone who didn’t mind seeing the tears
But enjoy when I wanted to give the pleasure
A person that is both a friend and lover
Someone fun but secretly heartfelt
This person might be hard to find
But I wish for this person or someone close to it
My heart is dying inside
It needs a light to bring it alive
Look through the fake smile
Help to pour out my soul
