somewhere in this darkness
Rain falls down; I’m all alone, in the middle of a nowhere.
Mascara runs down my face cascading into intricate webs of black.
Where is my knight? Coming from the intense dark that is slowly engulfing me
as I melt into the trees that are as ancient as time itself.
How did it come to this, everything that was so perfect is now not,
all of it is pointless, and terrifying, as I cry and sob in the epic cold.
My only hope is the dawn of the new day and the light that it will surely bring.
For if it doesn’t, I am truly afraid that I may be forever consumed
in this awful world of desolation and misery. So until that time I will stay as I am,
hoping, wishing, praying for the light as I am slowly corrupted by the evils of this dark.

I interpreted as something catastrophically awful happened and she just doesn't know if time will heal it.
I liked it, and also how u asked for us to interpret it. That's how a poem should be looked at, not just one way.
Take a look at mine? They are pending right now, though. thanks!
