My Bestfriend
You're my best friend, my other half
We're so different, eachothers opposites
When we were little, oh we hated each other
But now that we're older, we know that we were wrong
Fighting over toys and tattle tailing
Beating each other up, and making each other cry
Mom and Dad made us sit and hold hands
They told us we'd regret it
For, you're my best friend, my other half
When I need advice, you're who I call
When I need to let everything out, you're who I go to
We still fight quite often, but we're only human
Others ask why we're so close
Honestly, I don't know the answer
Making deals and keeping promises that will never be broken
You're my best friend, my other half
I used to hate sharing everything with you
But I don't know what I'd ever do without you
We came into this world together
And I hope we'll be leaving it together
I've never lived a single second without you
And i don't think I could
For, you're my best friend, my other half.
