Niche
My own place,
My little nook in the world
Is that nook made for me?
A crevice carved to fit just right?
Or am I constantly molded,
Ever being shaped by the world
By those you surround me,
Or the journey I am on
Isn’t my niche a product?
The product of who I am
And the space I make,
That I end up fitting in?
Don’t I choose my niche?
Don’t I carve it out?
Isn’t it a product of the people I am surrounded by
And the adventures I chose to go on?
So then like me my niche adapts with me
To accommodate to my ever changing life
