Something To Explore
I wrote a poem one day. In short- it had
no real feeling. It was horrid and sent
the readers to finish with no good end.
There was no moral to dig out. There was
no message to fill their heart with sweet warmth.
There were no chills from words crawling their spine.
No clarion hooray, or gasps of awe.
Nothing but the meaningless words to see.
I feel as a writer I have but failed.
I wish I could have made something stunning.
A piece of art a reader could explore.
