That magical number,
which makes men's dreams come true.
Some people carry you in their pocket.
Jumbled with the four-leaf clover and rabbit’s foot.
Maybe an exotic goat’s eye.
People kiss you for good fortune.
Hoping to please you,
Oh number of the gambling gods.
Little do they know,
that their pleas fall on deaf ears.
After all, you are only a number.
