A Girl, A Boy, And A Love
A girl,
With black hair and glasses,
With a petite frame and wide doe eyes,
A girl is in the corner,
She watches, but does not move,
She listens, but does not speak,
A girl is in the corner,
Shy, and lonely,
She sits in her corner,
Bright fuchsia flowers bloom,
But the girl is trapped in a black and white world,
People run and play,
But the girl is paralyzed,
She sits in her corner,
Disrupting no one,
Staying silent,
Living day by day,
She sits,
And waits,
A boy,
With shaggy brown hair and Caribbean eyes,
With a gangly build and a great sense of humor,
A boy laughs,
He cackles,
And snickers,
And guffaws galore,
A boy laughs,
He runs around happily,
Watching beautiful violet and bubble gum pink flowers sprout,
He smiles wide,
And loves life,
Enjoys the crisp morning air,
And the company of friends,
A boy laughs,
Something catches his eye,
He turns to see a gorgeous girl sitting alone in a corner,
With sleek raven hair, and haunted charcoal eyes,
The laughing boy approaches the girl in the corner,
A love,
So strong,
So pure,
An eternal love,
The onyx haired girl makes the chuckling boy stop, and truly look at the world,
The ocean-eyed boy earns the silent girl’s trust and she sings mellifluous notes,
The boy cries from what he sees,
The girl gently takes his hand,
The girl’s voice is so innocent and beautiful she never stops singing,
The boy is there, listening in awe the whole time,
A love,
They share a connection,
So deep,
Their souls are entwined,
An eternal love,
They seem to share nothing,
A girl in a corner,
And a laughing boy,
What would they have in common?
A love,
An eternal love.
