It All Counts
The crimson shade of my pain drips in small droplets draining color from my fail of a life.
My blade of release smoothy gliding along my wrists.
Loser, Ugly, Fat
Ringing in my ears, why is the world so cruel?
A sharp intake of breath, another slash to my dripping wrist.
C average, 52 on that last Spanish test, Homework still unfinished
I’m not worthy, failing at every thing I do. A disgrace to my family.
Layered up on top me, please relive me God, I can’t take it any more.
The harassment, the teasing, the gossip
Every little negative comment, another deep slash of my wrist.
I don’t deserve to smile, everyone always told me that. Now I actually believe it.
Embarrassment, Shamefulness, Worthlessness
If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything.
It all counts.
