As I walk
As she walks through the dark memories of her past
Through the shadows of darkness
She wonders how long it will last
How long till she's back on track
As she walks through all her sorrows she replays all her cries
She sees her bad temper, remembers all her lies
She hopes it is not as bad as it seems
that she's hallucinating, it's all just a very bad dream
She talked back to adults and did many people wrong
There are still many who like her but for how long?
She tries to change and tell herself how and who to be
But she only seems to fall short
When she finally realizes she is walking through her own life she tries to go back
She wasn't so shocked to see it was all black
