The sky
The moon,
a cotton ball on a satin blanket,
independent and bright,
surrounded by shinny specks,
like individual diamonds,
arranged elegantly in shapes and patterns,
a glass protector,
above the treetops,
showing the world the beauty,
the mug on the moon,
peer back always giving a smile,
brusquely the sun comes up,
and the moon and stars melt away,
slowly.
