The Fake Christmas
The time is coming,
When Saint Nicholas delivering.
The lights of Raleigh dimming,
He rides in on his red sleigh.
The thumping of hoofs,
Wakes the sleeping children.
The snow covered roofs,
Leave the evidence of Santa.
The stars are guidance,
To the little red nosed reindeer.
The moon and the stars dance,
While he says goodnight to all.
They see sugar plums,
In all that they dream.
Boys dream of drums,
Girls desire makeup.
Following in the tradition,
Of every Christmas Eve.
No matter the condition,
He is always merry and joyful.
Some say they see him,
Eating the cookies and drinking milk.
With his beard looking trim,
Yet no one knows, the mystery of Santa.
With his blushing cheeks,
He says his famous line.
A little child squeaks,
In all sorts of excitement.
The redness of his clothes,
Makes him like a cherry.
The elves take oaths.
Forever loved,
He is Santa Saint Nicholas.
He is dubbed,
To be forever true.
