One step
There is only one step from love to hate.
You feel so alone, all you feel is pain
Your body’s numb, your heart is cold
And tears pour down like rain
One day seems clean and perfect
And then he comes along
He breaks you down, he breaks your heart
And leaves you on your own
You struggle days, you struggle weeks
And life seems to be hopeless
But just remember, just believe
And don’t let fear take over.
Darkness of death depicts dead from alive
Your heart feels empty and heavy at once
But a ray of light enters your life
And heals your wounds and scars
And then your heart is healing.
And the pain seems far away.
You let the light shine into the room
As the rustling curtains part
The sun streams in, the rain has stopped
And your day is just beginning.
But just remember, just believe
And don’t let fear take over
