The Leaf

A single leaf,
falling,
from a tree,
drifting,
to the ground,
such grace,
elegantly landing,
on the forest floor,
blowing away,
as another dances,
dances to the ground,
green, yellow,
orange, & red,
everywhere,
over and over,
millions gliding,
to the ground,
then away,
in the wind,
every year,
over and over,
drifting,
slowly,
elegantly,
away.
