nothing one can do,
but to watch;
children inflicted with pain,
lost mothers endlessly walking -
Sunshine & Rain.
and to hope
is simply to tug a
rope
that gives no yield;
to pray for a
shield
to cover your eyes;
to cover your ears
to block out
lies.
Society Sins
committed,
but never comprehended,
until the action is
done.
Never realizing the hurt
we have caused
until someone's
sun
is blocked out by a
cloud,
only because they got in
with the wrong
crowd -
people who spoke
aloud
before they thought,
people who picked wars
that needed not be
fought.
In a world
that takes you on a
twirl,
disrespect easily earned
if you are a girl
because your worth
is only acknowledged
when you're needed.
As humans, failing to realize
that good things
can only be reaped,
if they are seeded.
Your tomorrow
should never be the same
as
your today,
you should leave the world
breathless;
with nothing to say.
Never be influenced by this modern society;
never allow it to make you stray
from what you see before
you
remember to always have more
than the slightest of
clues.
Hope that all your wrongs
are
forgiven,
