It shone and twinkled,
Glass and gloss,
Two laughing girls,
Jeans and jackets,
Docks without rails,
Pushing and shoving,
SLASH!
Green was all I saw,
White gleaming from the top,
Hooked and snagged,
Bubbles bursting from my lips,
Gasping!
Darkness.
Fingers reaching, reaching, grabbing me,
She was my savior.
