Following
I see her every night
I know the way by heart
But I know I’m not welcome
Some nights I’m sure to follow
Most nights I’ll stay here
At the Klondike
Where the floorboards are always
Creaking
And the people are so loud
And no one cares but
Her
When I do follow
Her cats hiss, meow, screech
They see me
They don’t like me
She can’t see me
But she likes me
And That’s all that matters to me
She tells me to leave
And I’m on my way home
Once again I leave to my
My broken, sad home
