"Open Eyes"

My eyes open.

I see the world as it is...
I am not afraid.

The world never ends. It repeats. It is full of second chances. It is running in place.

The world belongs to the people.

I see the people as they are...
I am not afraid.

The people never end. They are born. They cry. They speak. They walk. They love. They think. They sleep. They eat. And they repeat.

Every person belongs to their life.

I see life as it is...
I am afraid.

Life ends. There are no second chances. It never repeats. Life ends.

I am afraid.

My eyes close.
