A rose is not a simple flower.
It shows its beauty through its seductive coloring,
Yet, it is hurt.
It has a dark and painful past.
Painful because of the thorns covering its being,
Its complexity.
Each rose is not one of the same,
Yet, all coming with a common appearance.
Roses are representatives,
People in a different form.
A form that shows pain and heartbreak,
Instead of always keeping it hidden.
People, like roses, are all scared.
They show beauty in different ways,
But, always remaining beautiful;
Even during their darkest days.
