Shooting star
Living In a cold void, he rots in darkness. Eyes searching, desperate to find the light that has been stolen from his world.
A foggy haze, surrounds this shell; the shell of a man. Who waits for rain to wash away his pain. Yet the only thing pouring down on him, is the broken shards of his heart.
A glistening spark. A gleaming star, forcing him to remember. Remember his days of smiles; that are now only a ghost upon his face.
A dream so close to reality, he reaching out, biting back his anguished roar. Wondering why, how? A soul so treasured, he wishes for the light. But his star shoots past; leaving him, with so many fading memories.
