Almost Transparent

Blending into the walls, invisible to most. Slithering around the room, yet no where in sight. Changing to the back round I am around. As fast as a cheetah and as sly as a sloth. Almost transparent is what i am called. No chance to be seen when your not there, but i am here. A multicoloured creature is all I can say. What am I? A chameleon.
