Not A Friend, An Enemy
When everything is wrong,
And nothing is right,
A true friend,
Would help you in flight,
When a secret is out,
And everything,
Is blamed on you,
A true friend would
Tell who it was
If they knew
But my friend
Lets me keep blame
Won’t tell the secret
Won’t be ashamed.
Lets it be my fault
When she knows the secret
That friend isn’t true
She’s not someone
To be with
She rather let me
Take all the blame
Then let the perpetrator
Fall under shame.
