Tiempo
I stare at the clock,
And it stares back.
Moving its arms around,
I swear it's mocking me.
I can almost hear it laughing,
I can only watch,
As my precious time flies by.
I can only listen,
As it ticks my life away.
It's so unfair,
As it glares at me.
I know it has all the control.
I am its property,
It's so unreal,
That we could be ruled by something so simple,
That the sun could appear,
And run across the sky,
Then the moon can make it all vanish,
And nothing we do,
Will ever reverse it.
