Alone
Doesn't exist
For us
Fallen from grace
But we'll be back
Wings fly us to our place
Can't keep us
Down
Shredded apart
Ruby petals,
plucked and dropped
Scoop me up
Let the Angel take me away
Safe from the
Fires
When you're with me
Don't be afraid
Have hope
Faith
In me
Your
Glass tears
Shatters into hard diamonds
Swirls of dark hair
Shadows
My own tears
Are locked away
And never by daylight seen
Let the gold wishes pass
Take my hand
Tarnished
and dented
But they can't take us down
We are the only
Fire
and Ice
Sun
and Moon
Co-existing
I see through
The feathered mask
White gleaming wings
Can't hide your face
Sparkling
In what can be tears
Or what could be
Love
But do you see it?
I enclose myself
Blood red petals
Curl tighter
Against the raining sky
For on the outside
I've placed a lie
Can you break its truth?
My truth?
I need an Angel
And she needs this Rose

Don't know when you will be on to read this or even if you will, but hey. I just wanted to remind you what this means. The words you wrote all on your own, the feelings you felt to spur them onto paper and onto this site, they all came from you, and somehow I don't see how something so perfect and pure can just dissapear and fade from existence. I admire your talent and I admire the subject matter of this poem, very much so in fact. I hope you read this and realize that love is never lost. Love is love. "We are the only fire and ice, sun and moon co-existing" Never has more truth been spoken of a mere 6 lines.
