In Misery's Arms
Memories slice my hand. Past cuts deep into my heart. My sould drips down my wrist onto the roses I gave him. Take what's left of the love that was a lie. Blood soaked rose. Stained memories and visions of my lost, tortured soul. Wake me from what I thought was reality, close my eyes a final time with you by my side. I lay with my heart slowing. Breath feeling at ease. And thoughts of us walking with blood colored wrists. Hand in Hand. I smile, as your voice finishes me. Lost at times. I find myself where I don't wish to be, scared to feel for those who feel for me. Misery opens his arms to my love. And lets me lay in my pain. She conforts my tears of never more. And rest her head on my shoulder of cold embrace.
