Sitting on the park bench i look down at my shoe laces The worn tennis shoes look tired from all the walking I've done. The knots in the laces have been there since I bought the pair of shoes a couple years ago. the knot reminds me of wanting to do things on my own, i know there is a good reason for it too. The laces want to be untied but cant be untied. Its keeps the foot safe inside the shoe so it cant fall out.

Oh no, this is a great entrance into the intricate and very enjoyable world of public poetry! I never knew shoes to be so symbolic. I'm glad that you made them so. Well done!
