The ice sweats
And across the glimmer
Our eyes have met
Over the waves, with their constant shimmer.
The heat has me drowning
Before I take the plunge
As I am lounging
I make the lunge.
The sand, soft as snow,
My toes exhale
And as I float toward the break, the space between us is our common foe
With the grains under my feet, a perfect pale.

I hit the water with a dazzling speed
I sigh as I can finally breathe.
