That Night

That Night i wanted to look up at the stars,
& hold you dearly in my arms.
But sadly that was a dream,
a memory long ago...
I wanted to be safe & warm with you,
the one i adored.
To be loved & cared for,
forever more...
I thought i would get love & friendship,
from you everyday.
Now im sitting here drawing a blank,
thinking of what went wrong.
Im looking up at the sky,
thinking of...That Night...
