Abandoment's Kiss
The darkness in my room
Isn't leaving anytime soon
Because you were always here to chase it away
But now you've gone and forced the cable to fray
The one suspending
My ups and downs
Above the ground
But now this hurtling
Sensation
Is causing my brain to dysfunction
In a way never previously felt
My mind has never tried or dealt
With the inner issues
Caused by the used tissues
And the wishes to kiss you
And the lonely feeling that cones with being alone
The lack of another voice at the other end of the phone
And the disdain for life that follows a bad separation
Like a dog on a leash following the other end
I grudge on into the dark abyss
Of self pity and abandonment's kiss
