It’s hard to think,
When thoughts of you cloud my view.
It’s hard to see,
When all I see is you.
It’s hard to feel,
When all I feel is your lips on mine.
It’s hard to breathe,
When my heart thunders into oblivion.
It’s hard to walk,
When I imagine your arms around me.
It’s hard to act normal,
Because everything has changed.
I see you whenever I close my eyes.
I miss you when I’m alone in the darkness.
I smell you when I inhale.
I taste you when I exhale.
I feel you with every step I take.
I realize I need you, when you’re already gone.
