The Storm of M.C.
The cold of December resides within you
Though we met at the birth of spring
I suppose we were never meant to be
Anything other than enemies
I dare you to give me a good reason
Besides some snide comment
As to why you've suddenly left me out on the pavement
Wondering why you're screaming and what it meant
You stole my friends from my grip
You found a lover in one, full of secrets that could fill a choir
And something else in the companion of this liar
What did I do to make us like water and fire?
I dare you to find one good reason
Other than being a selfish prick
To treat me like I'm a piece of shit
I dare you to try and treat my friend like he isn't worth it
For the past three and a half days
You have frozen me with your ice
And I am full of jealousy and a craving for a reason to despise
The way you've made me feel like I've demised
I dare you to take that shell off your shoulders
What harm could it do besides let us in?
Why is it so hard for you to let us blend?
Where is the problem with us being friends?
Though midway through this era
After my simple offering of kindness or maybe
It's just because your lover is friends with me
Through your tempest came a slight, radiant, crescent sunbeam
