She remembers the day.
The day she was loved,
The day she had a family.
She remembers the crash.
The crash that left her alone,
The crash that took her family.
She remembers the day she woke up, with the fear in her mind.
The fear that she will never be loved,
The fear of new people.
She remembers her first foster home,
The home that took half her sight,
The home that sent her to the hospital.
She remembers it all as she lays in this new bed, hoping she will be loved.

I wrote this poem when I was depressed. It got me 50 points of extra credit.
