"Faith is taking another step without seeing the entire staircase."

Sitting on the other side of the glass,
I watch as people pass,
They grab for chocolate or white cake,
Sometimes I feel as though I should not have been baked,
I try to stay patient as I wait,
But no one wants the carrot cake,
I just sit here in this store,
I don't want to sit anymore,
I cannot be thrown away,
I must be bought today,
Being bought is a must,
I don't want to be left in the dust,
Even though I have great taste,
No body wants the carrot cake.

I wrote this in fifth grade. I don't know why. I guess i just felt like it. I consider it to be kind of a humorous poem. hope you like it.
