What the front door.

Forever behold the fountain of love
But where is love now and where will it go?
What happened to the fountain of love?
What happened to the ebb and flow?
Why don’t the waters quench my thirst?
Why do the waters run in place?
Why do these relationships always explode?
Why do they tend to blow up in my face?
What happen to or forever hold your peace?
Why couldn’t she have held her peace?
Why is she suddenly on his mind?
Why is he down on one knee?
Who really benefits from this fountain?
When will I get to take a drink?
Why is she wading in my waters?
Why is she wearing my wedding ring?
When will I find my true love?
When will my prince come along?
Why cant he be as handsome as the last?
And what took the fountain so long?
Who would’ve thought it’d turn out like this
The fountain of love I forever behold
You know that when we say our vows
He’ll be watching from the window

You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love.
Henry Drummond

I toatlly agree with this poem! LOVE IS CONFUSING!

PS: I like your poem too! A lot. :)

I totally relate to it and it's written very well!

Nice job. :)

"I've recently had one explode, if it hasn't it will soon." vs. (typical feminie response) "george, we have to stay together and make this work."

As always, very interesting, and I found the story kind of like a dream.  But I like when you say "why do these relationships always explode?" because I've recently had one explode...or if it hasn't, it will soon.

(breathes deepily) Savage Things (the poem title) + ism,a random-"suffix", if you will.

What's savagism?

I wonder if you're like this in real life? Just a musing.

You sure don't play your own game very well ;)

I really like the Savage things one, it's strange and confusing, and When it Rains.  I really do think all of your poems have the soul-squirmy feeling to them <Shrugs>

right......so......is there any one that stands out specifically? when someone says my work is this or that it just sounds so vague. that's like saying your favorite food is.......food.

But why should I be specific, Alice? This is Wonderland, after all.

For all that you know, I could have gone through every single one of them.

Your poetry is so interesting.

It squirms as I read it, it doesn't like analyzation. Actually, all of your poems do that. I can't figure out what they mean, or what they mean to me.

Rocks.
