Life is but a book just waiting to be filled, you make your own story

I feel alone
The moon's tears hiding my own
The music of the night soothes my pointless fears
The owl's hoot
A hidden scare
The crickets chirp
So sweet a sound
The light breeze caresses my too cold skin
The night keeps my emotions in
There's no one to hold me through this pain
A lone creatures spy
I lie still
I try to stay sane
The earth
A soft cushion
Such a comfort
But not enough
I don't hear my name called
everyone knows I'm gone
To vulnerable to face the monster that lurks
I hide in the trees shadows
The mothers gift covers my tracks
In what I may gain
Is what I now lack
To much of a coward to peek at the horizon
Light seems to close in fast
The little time that dwittles
My night will soon leave me
This home I have made
It disappear
I am pushed to fast from my comforts
soon the heat
the hated heat takes control
a new world now surrounds
The beauty of the forest
replaced by the devil's marks
His minions sinkers at what Ive become
there's no where else to hide
I take first steps into the real world
leaving the make believe behind

Love is not a feeling; it is a gift, an act, an ultimate sacrifice. -Me (Em)

Ooh, nice one. Poets tend to be cliche when writing about nature, and you definitely weren't.
