Journey
Oh sister, dear
you were gone so long
whisked away by that man who calls himself your father
but now you are on your journey back in your self-empowered ship
I'm standing on the shore helplessly watching you be tossed about by the waves
you drift so close to me only to be yanked back by a wave of fear and rememberence
all I can do is pray that you will someday finally land your little craft and climb on-to shore
there is no limit to the time I will stand here and wait for you with open arms
