Stupid
In over our heads and we cant go back.
Cant rewind my heart and put it back on track.
Too many longing looks
And lingering touches.
Cant forget what has happened
Although it hasn’t been much
And if it meant choosing between
Nothing and something
Well, we might as well touch.
They cant believe what I’m doing
Being so stupid
But I’m doing nothing
And if it meant choosing between
Never having you and never seeing you
Well, we might as well be something
We might as well exist
Sound the alarms and pump our fists
Touch the days away and smile
Because it’s fun to be stupid
Every once in a while.
