Dreamland
Moonlight shines throughout this place,
Everlasting beauty forever in space,
Rhinestone gems and blue sapphires,
Crashing down from a golden spire,
Until dawn when we will see,
Reflecting skies illuminating land and sea,
Young and bold, forever still.
Vivid pictures painted in the air,
Evening stars shine bright,
None are slaves, all roam wild,
Until the sun comes back, casting them away,
Soon they will return.
Earth, fire, air, water,
All are bound together,
Rooted to the ground in a magic place,
They are free, controlled by none,
Homeless forever.
Mile by mile we trek on,
A journey through our souls and minds,
Rounded smooth by harsh terrain,
Sitting down brings only pain.
Joyful birds sing along,
Until dusk, they sing their favorite songs,
Pushing onward to their dreamland,
Ignoring all outside their band,
Tired wings fly in silence,
Early morn’ comes and goes,
Resting none until they reach their goal.
Sunlight brings about a new day,
Alone we were, sad and blue,
Timber burning, lit the night,
Until we realized a different choice,
Rejoicing about how far we came,
Now we stride forward with faith.
Unless the flowers welt away,
Red rain pours down,
And animals run away,
Not until then will we stop,
Unto the task we have received,
Soon nature will breathe again.
No one hears the children’s screams,
Eventually they die out,
Poison sets in, rotting them away,
The distance seems to grow longer,
Until we see the ray of light,
No more will we watch and hear them suffer,
Evening stars have guided us to the dream.
Peace has finally arrived,
Love spread throughout the world,
Understanding one another,
The goal has been reached,
Outstretched hands saved.
Dreams fill everyone’s hearts,
Rings of Saturn pass on by,
Everyone cries out to the sky,
All have reached their dreamland…
…My dream of a perfect universe.
