When I Lost You
If teardrops made a stariway
and memories were a lane
I would walk right up to heaven
to bring you down again
No parting words were spoken
There was no time for good-byes
You left me so suddenly
and only god knows why
My heart still aches in silence
Secret tears still flow
What it ment to lose you
No one will ever knwo
When I am sad and lonely
and everything is wrong
I seem to hear you whisper
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time I see you picture
you seem to smile and say
"Don't cry, I'm only sleeping.
We'll meet again someday."
