I want to see the sun
but all I see is you
blotting out my world
what have we done?
Fingertip to
fingertip
the rows of deadened leaves
meet
a tear drop on my
window pane
the sound of angels
weeping
You
are the clouded winter cold
my wrinkled eyes
I am so old
you've stolen from me years of light
I've lost the sun
and with it
life
