Walking Away
You walked away without a goodbye. Awake night and day with your face in my mind, crying that you have forgotten me; the one that truly loves you and always will. I know who you really are, even though you fear to confess. When we are together you show it. The bond that we have is fading each minute we spend apart. Not letting us die without a fight, I take my flight into the night, searching the world to find you. Finally finding you, I look at you…, and wait for you to notice me. You meet my gaze and slowly walk towards me. Accepting yourself for who you are, you then kiss my tears away.
