This aching in my heart,
Is killing me slowly.
Your words have shot me down.
I lie here
Numb,
And can't get up.
You reach out a hand,
But, I will not grab it this time.
I'm okay lying here.. In my self pity.
I don't need you and your lies.
I'm over it
... Aren't I?
I know that once you walk away,
You'll be back,
An this vicious cycle will once again,
Be repeated.
