Eyes of a Child
Daddy, made me promise not to say anything to anyone
alittle secret just between me and him
so I keep my mouth shut
knowing what will happen
My teachers ask what's wrong
but I refuse to answer
the bruises consume my body
and It hurts
mommy doesn't care
daddy's hurting me
and there is nothing i can do
I love my daddy
so I'll keep my mouth shut
I wouldn't want to upset him

i think the book you're talking about is the boy called it by dave peltzer or something like that

This is really good, reminded me of a book...Which title i cant recall..but the little boy was being abused by his mother his whole life..and someone finally clued to the police that the boy was being abused..and the cops asked the boy if he was...they had evidence, and could have taken the mother away...the little boy could be happy...but he said no...because it was his mother. Anyways, i really liked this. Shows great emotion.
